Khind launches digital healthcare pilot for rent-to-own agents
Khind Direct Sdn Bhd has partnered with Heydoc Health Sdn Bhd to introduce a digital healthcare support pilot for selected rent-to-own (RTO) growth leaders committed to building sustainable agency growth.
KUALA LUMPUR: Khind Direct Sdn Bhd has partnered with Heydoc Health Sdn Bhd to introduce a digital healthcare support pilot for selected rent-to-own (RTO) growth leaders committed to building sustainable agency growth.
In a statement, Khind said the initiative reflects its broader commitment to supporting the well-being of its agency community.
It underscores the important role of RTO agents and agency leaders in enabling Malaysian households to own quality home appliances through affordable monthly instalment plans.
It also highlights Khind’s first-of-its-kind RTO solution, which includes insurance coverage as part of the offering.
Powered by Heydoc Health’s FutureK platform, the healthcare support programme will commence on July 1, 2026.
FutureK integrates teleconsultation, medication fulfilment, guided care navigation, and data-driven healthcare management into a single digital healthcare platform.
The solution is designed to help users access outpatient care more conveniently while supporting earlier and more informed healthcare decisions.
According to Khind, the programme represents a meaningful step towards strengthening welfare support within its RTO agency ecosystem.
Recognising that time is valuable and that clinic waiting times can affect productivity, the initiative introduces teleconsultation as an efficient and accessible healthcare solution that allows agents to seek medical advice without disrupting their working hours.
By moving beyond traditional reimbursement-based healthcare arrangements, Khind is offering a more practical and responsive model that better supports a mobile and distributed workforce.
“We are pleased to partner with Heydoc Health on this pilot initiative as part of Khind’s broader commitment to support the agency ecosystem behind our RTO business,” Khind Holdings Bhd executive director and Khind Direct Sdn Bhd general manager Cheng Duo-Ren said.
“Our agents and agency leaders play an important role in helping Malaysian households access essential home appliances.
“As the network grows, we want to explore practical ways to support their well-being through a more structured and accessible healthcare support model,” he added.
Meanwhile, Heydoc Health co-founder and chief executive officer Dr Raymond Choy said FutureK was designed to make outpatient care more intelligent, guided, and accessible through technology.
“By bringing together teleconsultation, medication fulfilment, care navigation, and data-driven healthcare management into one digital platform, FutureK helps organisations support their communities earlier, more efficiently, and at scale,” he said.
“We are honoured to partner with Khind in bringing this innovation to its RTO agency ecosystem,” he added.
The initiative was formally launched during a signing ceremony and onboarding session held on June 18, 2026, where participating agents and agency leaders were introduced to the FutureK platform and the support available under the programme.
Khind and Heydoc Health will jointly drive awareness of the programme through internal engagement, onboarding communications, and digital channels.
As workforce models continue to evolve, Khind is taking proactive steps to support non-traditional workforce communities while leveraging technology to make healthcare more accessible, guided, and sustainable.
Its collaboration with Heydoc reflects a forward-looking spirit of innovation, redefining how organisations champion inclusive and future-ready workforce well-being.
